I started training at MAU with my 8 year old twin boys back in March with the intent to have an activity with them. I had previously done karate from age 8 to 22. I have enjoyed learning and training with my boys as it is an excellent program. I have the martial arts bug again, so I will be picking up my training.

I can't say enough how much MAU has helped my 14 year old daughter. Not only has she learned some incredible physical training/martial arts, she is learning so many more life skills that apply to every day life. This will stay with her for a lifetime. You can't do any better than MAU. Master Harris and his team of instructors are first rate - they are AWESOME! I highly recommend them!

The instructors at MAU do a fabulous job teaching martial arts, but they don't stop there. They make it their mission to make their students better people. My children enjoyed their classes so much that I tried it as well. I have had a great experience and can confidently say that MAU is a wonderful place to train for both children and adults.

I joined MAU in September 2014. At the time I was going through the toughest time of my entire life. But, since joining MAU, things have changed dramatically in a positive way and I found the exact place where I can get the peace of mind and focus. Master Harris, instructor Hernandez, instructor Mack and the entire MAU staff has helped me immensely to overcome my rough time and actually made the person I am today. They helped me get my focus back, get my physical fitness right and always give me the courage to go the extra mile. They are part of my family now and I always love to be there!!!!

I am the first to admit that I was always a little skeptical of taekwando, thinking it was "strip mall" karate. However I could not have been more wrong with MAU and especially Master Todd Harris. I began by enrolling both my daughters, 5 & 8 into a Summer camp. After about 4 weeks I started to see a massive transformation in their confidence and excitement. I was so impressed that I as a 42 year old started to take taekwando for myself. I have lost 6 lbs and more importantly have an opportunity to work out with my girls 3 days a week. The leadership at MAU is first class, spending as much time developing the character of the students, as they do their techniques. I have recommended this dojo to several friends and colleagues, and give MAU the easiest 5 star rating to date. Be it for your child or for yourself, its time and effort very well spent.

Martial Arts University is a great place to bring your kids! The instructors are really in-tune with both adults and kids in the classes. They are top-notch and really, really good people. There is always a message attached to each class regarding becoming a better person, targeted towards the kids in the class. The life lesson portion of each class is quick but meaningful and includes respect, perseverance, gratitude, generosity and many other traits that are important for children to learn.

Martial Arts University is an amazing place! The energy when you step inside the door is palpable...it's a positive energy that exudes confidence....confidence that says 'MAU will make a difference in you and your family if you give us the chance'! Every member of the staff is kind, knowledgeable and interacts well with both kids and parents. But more than that, they know how to create meaningful connections and that's how the real magic happens!

It's hard not to like this place. Sure you can find other places to teach a form of Martial Arts but MAU is different. It starts at the top Master Harris is truly a Master; his ability to connect quickly with students regardless of gender, race or socioeconomic status is pretty special. However it doesn't stop there, each and every instructor brings something unique to the table. As you watch them all interact with each other and their students you quickly understand what first looks like chaos is really a controlled environment designed for multiple student/teacher connect points focused to encourage and motivate. Success is not always defined as the best form but who puts forth the best effort, dedication and focus. I'm seeing that does come as long as the effort is there. So if you want your child to learn more than just Tae Kwon Do from people who are passionate, caring and really love their "job" give this place a try.

I love Martial Arts University they’ve received us with such love and respect. My son loves going to this school. At first he was scared and shy, now he shows confidence, growth, and understanding. I’m proud of my son and proud to say Martial Arts University is the place for your kids to be.
